Philosophy Now in NYC
|
Meet other local readers of Philosophy Now (a magazine for all those who have an interest in philosophy), or in general people intrigued by philosophy and its impact on our understanding of life, the universe and everything! The format is a lunch or dinner at a restaurant, with a limited number of people (i.e., food, wine and philosophy, just like in the original Symposium by Plato). The idea is that good conversation requires small crowds. No specialized background in philosophy required, just a love of wisdom!
