Details
We meet once a month to discuss philosophy: what it is; the various ways it is and might be done; how you are doing it; and what difference it makes. The discussion can be focused on a topic or free flowing, and is open to all levels of experience.
For the April 18, 2008 Meetup, Andrew has proposed to continue discussion of the issue regarding the putative connection between human's evolutionary 'nature' and ethics. We shall do that, but since our discussion tend to be open and free flowing, we will also likely delve into other topics.
A new member has expressed special interest in the ideas of Nietzsche. Maybe we can take up some of his iconoclastic, but always provocative, ideas.
We invite participants to join us on April 18 and bring your questions and comments on the topics of evolutionary ethics and one of the precursors of the existentialist perspective, Friedrich Nietzsche.

"Fairly good, lively discussion. The six members who attended were engaged and engaging. The meeting went well beyond our usual adjournment time because of people's interest in staying with the subject: our evolutionary nature & morality. "
